The madness for Nike Dunk SB breeds fake shoes too. I was curious to see one such thing and was shown the one called “What the Dunk” with the logo on the insoles. Holy Jesus! But there are some exclusively made Nike Dunk SB shoes particularly for sports persons participating in unexpected disciplines like running race, marathon, high and long jumps. Another interesting pair is the special edition Piazza Dunk SB; it was named after former amateur skater, Wieger Van Wageningen of Holland. Nike also has a strange edition named as Nike Dunk SB FLOM “for love or money”. As these are rarest of the rare, collector prices for them often crosses US$9,000. However, watchout before you shell out money, these reputed editions are amongst most faked ones and are being sold as “variants” of their original selves. Don’t be surprised to see a Dunk with an embroidered letter in an atypical box. There are editions to commemorate holidays, Christmas and Valentine's Day. Understandable, sometimes the Dunks take the name used to design them; for example, Laser Dunks feature laser-engraved artwork, Dunks using British tweed fabric bears the name Harris Tweed Dunks and you always have The Inside Out Dunks to surprise you.
